You will manage visitor and employee access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors at a cultural institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site policies.

Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.

Assist with protecting exhibits, collections, equipment, and restricted areas by reporting observed concerns and following established site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
