Summary Located in the Orlando VA Medical Center, the Program Analyst performs duties directly contributing to the administrative and data management of Orlando Veteran Affairs Health Care System (OVAHCS) under the Ambulatory Care Operations Director/Group Practice Manager. Provides mission critical analysis and data to support the development of a more comprehensive, coordinated, and patient care driven healthcare system. This requires the position to operate independently on behalf of the ACOD/GPM. Responsibilities The Program Analyst will perform the following duties as assigned: Advise and analyze data for various programs involving resourcing, provider mapping, access, etc. Interpret administrative policies, develop recommendations, define administrative requirements. Recommend resources that may be required to support varied service programs based on data analytics. Advise Management. Participate in meetings, conferences, and calls with management. Identify problems that involve new or revised policies or procedures and brings them to the attention of senior management for appropriate action. Performs staff work in short and long-term planning efforts. Develops and coordinates internal review systems to assure that both clinical and administrative activities are in compliance with agency and accrediting and regulatory requirements and expectations. Compiles reports and create dashboards. Analyze utilization and process improvement across the health care system. Perform data management duties. Performs ADPAC related duties. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
