As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Reston, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and help to deter incidents through a highly visible presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
