As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use clear communication and technology to document security-related observations while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.

Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and incident records.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.

Support a professional logistics and distribution environment by communicating observations, completing required reports, and following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
