As a Security Guard Retail Store in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist with loss-prevention activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Mon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to store guests, team members, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate pertinent information to appropriate site contacts.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, including sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter.

Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and policy violations.

Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming presence while supporting store operations and following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
