Responsibilities You will serve as the primary logistics authority coordinating with cross-functional teams (engineering, contracting, and program management) to integrate supply chain requirements into broader acquisition and sustainment strategies. You will identify and assess supply chain vulnerabilities, including Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and supply chain security risks, and develops robust mitigation and resilience strategies. You will conduct supply chain and logistics analyses utilizing metrics, demand forecasting, and modeling techniques to identify trends, mitigate disruptions, and optimize stock levels. You will lead the development and execution of inventory management strategies and product support plans to optimize weapon system readiness and lifecycle sustainment. You will establish, maintain, and oversee comprehensive property and equipment tracking systems to ensure asset visibility, lifecycle accountability, and continuous audit readiness for all organizational and program-supported equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing inventory management and product support strategies to maximize weapon system readiness and/or life-cycle sustainment; contributes to transportation logistics and in-transit asset visibility for the movement of critical equipment; and/or coordinating complex supply chain analyses. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
