Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cash Vault Processor to join our operations team. This is a production-based role responsible for accurately processing cash deposits for both commercial and internal customers. This position is strictly non-customer facing and focuses on back-end processing within a secure cash handling environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately process and verify cash deposits for commercial and internal accounts

Count, sort, and balance large volumes of currency in a high-volume production environment

Ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with established procedures and compliance standards

Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and internal controls

Meet daily production and accuracy goals

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent

Ability to Repeatedly move up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Qualifications

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Basic math and problem-solving abilities

Previous experience in cash handling, banking operations, or processing roles preferred

Work Environment

Production-focused, non-customer-facing role

Requires consistent focus, accuracy, and adherence to process

May involve repetitive tasks and handling of large volumes of cash

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.77
