Medical office Coordinator (Contract Only)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator / Physician Services Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to our department. This role works under direct supervision and is responsible for coordinating departmental processes, maintaining records and databases, supporting physician credentialing activities, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for department projects, programs, and initiatives.
Research, compile data, and prepare standard reports and documentation.
Answer and direct phone calls professionally, take messages, and respond to routine inquiries.
Draft, prepare, and proofread correspondence, reports, and departmental communications.
Coordinate administrative processes and follow up on requests, issues, and needed changes.
Prepare, update, and maintain office forms, documents, and materials using various software applications.
Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems and ensure record accuracy.
Manage department calendars, schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate meeting logistics.
Maintain databases, online records, and confidential departmental information.
Review invoices for accuracy, obtain approvals, and coordinate payment processing.
Maintain physician credentials, including medical licenses, board certifications, professional certifications, liability coverage, and CVs.
Complete and maintain health plan enrollments, recredentialing applications, and hospital appointment applications.
Monitor credential expiration dates and ensure timely renewals and compliance requirements are met.
Coordinate physician on-call schedules, vacation tracking, holiday rotations, and schedule distribution.
Process patient chart requests in compliance with office policies and confidentiality requirements.
Prepare and process medical transcription, physician notes, consultations, reports, and quality assurance documentation.
Complete patient disability forms and other physician-related administrative paperwork.
Support departmental compliance with organizational policies, the Code of Ethics, and Business Standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
