Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is expanding its centralized mechanical engineering capability in Agoura Hills to support next-generation semiconductor test equipment. This team partners across product development to solve complex mechanical and thermal challenges in high-performance capital equipment, from concept development through integration, verification, and release.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will help design mechanical components, subsystems, and assemblies that enable high-performance semiconductor test platforms used across computing, communications, mobility, and AI infrastructure. This is a development-focused role for an engineer looking to build depth in mechanical design while gaining hands-on exposure to CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis, proto@type builds, integration, suppliers, manufacturing, and design verification.
Support development of mechanical components, subsystems, and assemblies for next-generation semiconductor test equipment
Contribute to capital equipment electromechanical design under the guidance of senior engineers
Translate high-level requirements into mechanical design concepts with supporting engineering analysis
Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using SOLIDWORKS
Apply GD&T and sound mechanical design practices to support functional and manufacturable designs
Support proto@type builds, integration activities, functional testing, and design verification
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, thermal, reliability, manufacturing, product, and supplier teams
