Summary You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (Infosec) in the Cybersecurity Department, Assessment & Validation Division of HOPPER GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS CENTER. Responsibilities You will perform duties as the Division Head, overseeing the Naval Intelligence (NAVINTEL) Security Control Assessor (SCA) for the Naval Intelligence (NAVINTEL) Information Assurance (IA) Program. You will manage the Information Assurance/Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the management and implementation of the Naval Intelligence (NAVINTEL) Information Assurance (IA) Program assessment methodologies. You will serve as the NAVINTEL Technical Assessment Director for the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), providing direct oversight of a team of senior level NAVINTEL SCA Reps and NAVINTEL IA Security Engineers (IASE). You will serve as the NAVINTEL Security Control Assessor Cross Domain Support Element (CDSE) Program Manager, managing over 120 NAVINTEL Cross Domain assessment requirements. You will perform technical, administrative and management tasks that involve planning, directing, assigning, leading, and monitoring the work of the unit; managing and supporting employee performance and development. You will develop requirements for funding, resource management and oversee execution; as well as identify, consolidate, and prepare the divisions programmatic submissions. Earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix (described in SECNAV M-5239.2) associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned, and; 2. Participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINST 1543.2. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor. This position performs a primary cyber work role of 722, Information Systems Security Manager. This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date).
