Position SummaryThe Customer focused Compliance Specialist is a mid-level Trade Compliance professional responsible for leading complex compliance activities and supporting customer-focused trade compliance activities across assigned operations.

Working arrangement: Hybrid

Available locations: Dublin / Bray / Waterford

Key Responsibilities

Lead advanced trade compliance reviews across assigned operations.

Manage Export Licenses, determination, application, maintenance and reporting.

Assess compliance risks associated with imports, exports, and customs activities.

Provide guidance regarding trade regulations and customs requirements.

Support development and implementation of compliance procedures and controls.

Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.

Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.

Identify compliance risks and continuous improvement opportunities.

Support strategic compliance initiatives and continuous improvement across assigned operations.

Education Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.- Professional training or certification in EU customs law, export controls, and international trade compliance preferred.

Regional and global education equivalencies accepted.

Experience as an internal auditor is beneficial.Experience Requirements- 4-9+ years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, Logistics, or International Trade.- Experience in handling regulatory audits and managing export licenses is highly desirable.- Demonstrated experience supporting global compliance programs and stakeholder engagement.

Full knowledge on supply chain full process from end to end is a plus.

Key Skills and Knowledge

In depth knowledge of customs and trade compliance activities in international environments.

In-depth knowledge of EU export control regulations, export licensing, sanctions, and dual-use controls.

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

Strong influencing skills with a proactive, risk-based approach
