Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Entry Level) - Contract

Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Assignment Type: 6month Temporary- Hire

Pay Rate: Up to $39.13/hour

Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

About the Opportunity

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a leading organization to identify a Regulatory Affairs Specialist for a hybrid contract opportunity based in St. Louis, MO. This role offers the opportunity to support regulatory compliance activities for crop protection products while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic regulatory environment.

This contract has the potential for extension and continued renewal based on strong performance.

Position Overview

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will support state regulatory activities related to product registrations, compliance, documentation, and regulatory database management. The ideal candidate will bring more than traditional laboratory experience and demonstrate the ability to think critically, solve problems independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

We are seeking candidates who are comfortable working beyond established procedures and can contribute to process improvement, data management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Support state regulatory activities required to obtain and maintain product registrations, including FIFRA Sections 3, 24(c), 2(ee), 18, and 5 for crop protection products.

Communicate with state regulatory agencies regarding submissions, approvals, renewals, and regulatory inquiries.

Maintain and update regulatory databases, tracking systems, and internal documentation tools.

Review, organize, scan, and electronically file regulatory documents and supporting materials.

Track and process state registration fees, including:

New product registration fees

Annual renewal fees

Tonnage fees

Other applicable regulatory payments

Review product labels for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

Interpret and evaluate federal and state regulatory requirements as they apply to company products.

Provide regulatory support and service to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Respond to requests for regulatory information and documentation.

Maintain accurate regulatory records and ensure documentation is complete and organized.

Support additional regulatory projects and assignments as needed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an environment that requires:

Critical thinking and independent problem-solving.

Managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Adapting to changing processes and business needs.

Working with databases or data management systems, including entering, maintaining, querying, or analyzing information.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Science, Business, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with database management or data tracking systems.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred

Experience with document comparison tools.

Previous experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, quality, laboratory, or a related field.

Experience working in a highly regulated industry.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $39.00 per hour
