Austin, TX | Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid (3 days on site)

We are seeking an Adobe Audience Developer to support enterprise-scale customer data, personalization, and digital marketing initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing audience segments within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to drive cross-channel marketing activation, customer engagement, and journey orchestration strategies. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in customer data platforms, audience architecture, identity resolution, and segmentation development. This role partners closely with marketing, analytics, engineering, and data teams to create scalable audience frameworks that improve targeting precision and campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain complex audience segments within Adobe Experience Platform.

Develop scalable and reusable audience frameworks that support personalization and marketing activation initiatives.

Translate business requirements into audience logic and segmentation strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Data Analytics, Engineering, CRM, and Product teams.

Support customer identity resolution and profile unification initiatives.

Validate audience outputs and ensure data accuracy across activation channels.

Optimize audience performance and segmentation processes.

Document audience definitions, development standards, and governance procedures.

Assist with audience taxonomy development and best practices.

Support customer journey orchestration and campaign execution initiatives.

Troubleshoot data quality issues and segmentation discrepancies.

Requirements

5+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), or related marketing technology platforms.

Hands-on experience creating advanced audience segments and customer profiles.

Strong understanding of identity resolution, profile stitching, and customer data management concepts.

Experience supporting customer personalization, lifecycle marketing, and audience activation initiatives.

Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience validating and troubleshooting audience data and segmentation logic.

Experience with Adobe Experience Platform Real-Time Customer Profile and Segmentation Service.

Experience with SQL and customer data analysis.

Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and customer data governance.
