Austin, TX | Contract | Hybrid (2+ days on site)

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support and enhance a hybrid Microsoft infrastructure environment. This role will focus on systems administration, cloud operations, identity management, automation, and operational support while partnering with cross-functional IT teams to ensure a secure and reliable technology environment.

Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms.

Manage user identity, access controls, and enterprise authentication systems.

Resolve production incidents and track service requests through completion.

Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting tools.

Support cloud infrastructure in Azure and/or AWS environments.

Monitor system performance, availability, and security across enterprise platforms.

Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures.

Participate in on-call support and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years of systems administration or infrastructure support experience.

Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.

Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.

Knowledge of identity management platforms, networking, and enterprise monitoring tools.

Experience supporting both Microsoft and Linux environments is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).

Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, Ping, or other identity platforms.

SolarWinds or other enterprise monitoring solutions.

Microsoft Graph, JavaScript, or shell scripting experience.
