As a Security Officer Wilshire Highrise Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Sun10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel or resort setting.

Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local emergency services when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, guest-facing areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.

Monitor access points, observe entrances and common areas, and help to deter unauthorized access, disturbances, and/or other security-related issues within the location.

Complete required reports and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and in a timely manner according to Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of security-related experience are required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience are preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
