As an Airport Security Officer: Mobile Patrol in Hilo, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity every day.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Day Time

Mon04:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri04:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat04:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun04:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)

1+ years of Security Experience

18+ years of age

Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support appropriate reporting and follow-up actions.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or pedestrian traffic while communicating with visitors, staff, and public personnel regarding access procedures and observed concerns.

Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance-related observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client contacts, and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
