Summary This position is at the full performance level located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center (VAMC) in the Community Engagement and Reintegration Service (CERS): in support of the Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC) program. The primary purpose of this position is to provide a variety of staff support functions, special projects, and assignments in support of Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC) and Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Leadership (Transitional Housing Coordinator and Transitional Housing Deputy Coordinator), Management and Program Analyst, and Liaison staff. The incumbent will provide administrative support for HCHV oversight and Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC). The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (GLA) is the largest, most complex healthcare system within the Department of Veterans Affairs. It is a component of the VA Desert Pacific Healthcare Network (VISN 22) that provides services to veterans residing in Southern California and Southern Nevada, including VISN 22 Textile Care Facility Plant GLA consists of three ambulatory care centers, a tertiary care facility and ten community-based outpatient clinics treating veterans residing throughout five counties: Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Kern County, and San Luis Obispo. The major duties of the position include: Performs a variety of complex administrative and operational duties in support of the CRRC programs and staff duties include, but are not limited to: Perform work involving the collection, compilation and/or tracking of data and statistical information in support of an organizations program operation Assist in the planning, review, and reporting of data/statistical results of program/project studies Establish protocols for incoming data, organizes computerized data sets and retrieves computerized data Perform basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports Coordinate incoming data from a variety of sources Review documents, reports and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies, and ensures data entry is complete and accurate Perform office automation duties such as using software, electronic mail, desktop publishing, calendar, spreadsheet, database, and/or graphics etc. Process incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memorandum, and other forms of written communication Ensures all staff accurately report their work hours, leave usage, telework days, and overtime in accordance with VA timekeeping policies Identifies and resolves missing, incorrect, or conflicting time entries by coordinating directly with employees and supervisors.
