Our client, a leader in the logistics and distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and safety consciousness, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: North Chicago, IL

Pay Range: $21.00 per hour

Shift: 4-day 10-hour shifts (8am-6:30pm) or 5-day 10-hour shifts (10am-6:30pm)

What's the Job?

Perform warehouse duties such as counting, sorting, and recording large, heavy-weight stock

Assist with receiving, picking, packing, and dock processing operations

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and order pickers after training

Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols

Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating reliability and initiative

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of previous warehouse experience

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs constantly and work in hot/cold environments

Strong attention to detail and safety-focused mindset

Flexibility to work between 5am - 6:30pm, Monday through Friday
