What's a typical day as Warehouse Operator? You'll be:
Assisting with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
Sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, @type, style, or product code.
Filing requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items, and distributing items as needed.
Marking materials with identifying information and recording amounts received or distributed using computer programs.
Assisting in counting physical inventory and preparing parcels for mailing.
Supporting facilities maintenance duties and keeping the warehouse organized and safe.
Wearing proper safety equipment and performing other duties as assigned by management.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience (required).
Bring previous experience in warehouse shipping and receiving (preferred).
Are able to regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
Possess strong mathematical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Are comfortable with the physical demands of standing, handling objects, reaching, and occasional lifting or moving of heavy items.
Can work efficiently, follow safety guidelines, and maintain workplace organization.
