Job Title: Mechanical/Electrical Assembler Job Description

This role involves assembling and building mechanical and electrical components using a variety of hand tools and power tools. You will work from blueprints and schematics to produce high-quality assemblies that support the delivery of critical medical products.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components using hand tools and power tools according to detailed instructions, blueprints, and schematics.

Assemble electrical components and subassemblies, ensuring proper connections and secure installation.

Interpret and follow blueprints and electrical schematics to build accurate and reliable assemblies.

Inspect assembled components for quality, accuracy, and proper function, and make adjustments as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with cleanroom and safety standards.

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when using tools, equipment, and materials.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.

Document work as required, including recording any issues or deviations from specifications.

Essential Skills

Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for mechanical and electrical assembly.

Mechanical assembly experience, including working with mechanical parts and components.

Electrical assembly experience, including basic understanding of electrical components and connections.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Comfort working in a cleanroom and climate-controlled environment.

Strong focus on safety and adherence to established procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience assembling products in a manufacturing or production environment.

Familiarity with working in a high-tech, clean, and organized facility.

Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a team-oriented setting.

Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
