Job Description Warehouse 1 - Freehold, NJ

Warrior Services Company provide Durable Medical Equipment, Mobility, and Access services to the federal government and commercial customers in different parts of the country, providing Home Medical Equipment (HME) and Services consisting of all @types of DME, Home Oxygen Services, Sales and Repairs of Complex Rehab Power Mobility Devices to the Department of VA and other Federal Agencies.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse 1 person to support receiving, inventory, and distribution operations at our Freehold, NJ warehouse facility. This role assists the local Manager in maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting shipments; labeling, storing, and tracking inventory; maintaining required Dept. of VA records; preparing and staging DME (Durable Medical Equipment), mobility, and accessibility equipment for delivery; assisting with loading vehicles; updating work orders; and coordinating outbound shipments and using Salesforce to manage day-to-day warehouse operations. The position works closely with delivery drivers, vendors, and Dept. of VA officials to schedule deliveries and provide order updates. As a government contractor serving the Department of Veterans Affairs, accuracy, compliance, and service quality are essential.

Responsibilities:

Assist warehouse manager in implementing company policies and vision
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization
Establish and enforce operational policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations
Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
Place outbound calls to vendors and freight carriers to coordinate delivery schedules and provide order updates
Know where your site's fire exits are
Monitor service quality and gather feedback
Perform other assigned duties as required

Skills:
Proficient in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Familiarity with warehouse and inventory software
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Sound knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Strong leadership skills and capability to manage staff
Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:
High School Diploma - Required
Warehouse Operations Experience - 1 to 3 years required
Performing Warehouse Inventory Counts and Control - 1 to 3 years required
SalesForce CRM software - 1 to 3 years preferred
Forklift experience - preferred
Receiving experience - preferred
Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Test

Physical Demands:
Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs or more and move items of various weight and sizes.
