Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a Email marketing Specialist (contract). In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end email marketing process, including campaign strategy, audience segmentation, content development, automation, testing, and performance analysis. This role is hybrid in Austin, Tx.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and manage email marketing campaigns from concept through deployment and analysis.

Create and maintain email marketing calendars aligned with business objectives, promotions, and customer lifecycle initiatives.

Build and manage audience segmentation strategies to improve engagement and campaign performance.

Design, test, and optimize email templates, workflows, and automated nurture campaigns.

Write and edit compelling email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and conversions.

Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, layouts, and send times to maximize campaign effectiveness.

Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations based on key metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.

Partner with marketing, sales, creative, and digital teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns.

Maintain email database health, audience lists, and compliance with applicable email marketing regulations and best practices.

Analyze customer behavior and engagement trends to identify opportunities for personalization and automation.

Ensure brand consistency across all email communications and customer touchpoints.

Stay current on email marketing trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, marketing automation, or a related role.

Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of audience segmentation, personalization, journey mapping, and marketing automation.

Experience creating, deploying, and analyzing high-volume email campaigns.

Knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability standards, and compliance requirements.

Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign metrics and making data-driven recommendations.

Excellent written, verbal, and proofreading skills.

Experience with CRM systems and marketing analytics tools.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with HTML/CSS for email customization.

Familiarity with lead generation and customer lifecycle marketing strategies.

Experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing environments.

Marketing automation or platform certifications are a plus.
