About the Role
Are you passionate about building relationships, delivering exceptional client service, and helping businesses maximize the value of their employee benefits programs? We are seeking an Account Manager to support the retention, growth, and ongoing service of our Worksite business.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to employer groups and brokers after the sale, ensuring a seamless client experience while proactively managing renewals, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating solutions across internal teams. You'll work closely with Regional Marketing Directors, Operations, Claims, Billing, Implementation, and Client Services leadership to strengthen client relationships, drive revenue growth, and support long-term business success.

What You'll Do
Lead the renewal process for assigned employer groups, ensuring a proactive and organized experience for clients and brokers.
Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional lines of coverage, increased participation, and enrollment growth.
Partner with Regional Marketing Directors to support retention strategies, account expansion, and broker relationship management.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employer groups and brokers regarding service-related matters, including enrollment, billing, claims, policy administration, and portal support.
Coordinate and resolve client service issues by collaborating with internal teams and ensuring timely follow-up and communication.
Support new business implementations and help ensure a successful transition from the sales process to ongoing account management.
Facilitate broker and client meetings related to renewals, enrollment planning, service reviews, and growth initiatives.
Prepare and communicate renewal information, product updates, and account-related communications.
Maintain accurate records of account activity, service requests, growth opportunities, and renewal status.
Monitor client trends, service concerns, and retention risks and recommend solutions to improve outcomes.
Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance the client experience and operational efficiency.
Travel periodically to support broker meetings, employer group visits, enrollments, and internal meetings (approximately 10-15%).
What You Will Bring
3-5 years of experience in account management, client service, employee benefits, insurance, financial services, or a related field.
Experience supporting brokers, employer groups, renewals, enrollment platforms, or insurance operations is strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Insurance, or a related discipline preferred.
Life and Health insurance license preferred or the ability to obtain one within a company-established timeframe.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients, brokers, and internal partners.
A customer-focused mindset paired with a strong understanding of retention and account growth strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, enrollment platforms, and client management tools.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across Sales, Operations, Billing, Claims, Implementation, and Client Services teams.
A positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to contribute to process improvements and organizational growth.
