Accounting Clerk

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Fayetteville, AR (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. The Accounting Clerk will support the accounting department by processing invoices, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Review invoices for accuracy and proper coding

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Prepare and distribute customer invoices

Research and resolve billing discrepancies

Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Support audits and special accounting projects as needed

Provide administrative support to the accounting team

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting preferred

1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or related experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Qualifications

1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or related experience
