Primary Responsibilities Sales Representative:

Supports designated sales territories and customer accounts while developing commercial, technical, and relationship-management skills.

Territory will include transactional and strategic accounts.

Assists in identifying growth opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.

Works with Market Team to support customer growth initiatives and business-development activities.

Manages time and territory in conjunction with manager on a bi-weekly basis.

Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required For The Sales Representative:

Four-year college degree, preferably in Marketing or a related discipline.

0-2 years of sales/relationship management experience.

Preferred For The Sales Representative:

Flexibility when faced with frequently changing priorities.

Strong goal and results orientation; high energy.

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

Ability to utilize knowledge of systems and processes to optimize workflow.

Well-developed problem-solving skills.

Effectiveness with multiple information systems, both mainframe and PC-based.

Strong quantitative and data-driven decision-making skills.

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills; demonstrates candor and an openness to viewpoints of others.

Willingness to offer a dissenting viewpoint during group decision making.

Professional business writing skills.

Customer service orientation.

Proven ability to resolve conflicts and arrive at good business decisions.
