As a Security Officer Overnight Truck Gate in Wilson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, attentive presence, and customer-focused service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Mon12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Tue12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.

Support access control, incident reporting, and routine observations of equipment, gates, doors, and restricted areas while following Allied Universal standards and location-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
