As a Security Officer - Shipping Warehouse , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Day Time

Mon06:45 PM - 11:45 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating with site contacts when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and other assigned parts of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and delivery traffic to help to support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and packages in accordance with site policies.

Assist with reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and follow post instructions related to after-hours checks and routine observations.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
