Job Description:

Designs curricula, develops programs of study, guides learners, and evaluates learning outcomes.

Incorporates principles of adult learning in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs.

Plans, prepares, and maintains materials for educational programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience.

Assists students and practicing nurses in identifying learning needs, strengths, and opportunities.

Coordinates orientation of new staff, including agency personnel, into the organization.

Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programming and adjusts content and teaching strategies based on learner needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, concepts, and procedures as applied to the care of the patient population served.

Knowledge of adult learning principles, methods of education delivery, and ability to facilitate learners' achievement of the education objective.

Computer skills in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new software programs.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to make realistic and practical recommendations for problem-solving.

Demonstrates a professional, committed, and dynamic role model.

Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills.

Ability to demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to delivering exceptional care to create an unmatched value proposition for clinicians and patients.

Nursing research background.

Education:

Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ education experience in acute care or academic setting [Required]

5+ experience in nursing education [Preferred]

5+ years nursing experience [Preferred]

Experience in Nursing Research [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$68,194.25 - $126,851.50

Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening , including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
