Job Description
The Marketing Specialist supports marketing, communications, and business development initiatives for a growing professional services organization. This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen brand presence, develop compelling marketing content, coordinate business development efforts, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives. The position is ideal for a proactive, organized marketing professional who enjoys managing multiple projects, collaborating across departments, and creating content that drives engagement and business growth.
Responsibilities
Support the execution of integrated marketing and business development strategies across digital and traditional channels.
Create, edit, and manage marketing content for presentations, collateral, website pages, social media, and other client-facing materials.
Coordinate responses to business development opportunities, including drafting and organizing proposals, presentations, and supporting documentation.
Assist with pursuit planning by helping to track opportunities, organize timelines, and support relationship-building initiatives.
Develop and maintain marketing assets, including content libraries, project summaries, case studies, and organizational profiles.
Manage social media calendars, scheduling, and content development while monitoring engagement and performance.
Update and maintain website content and support search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives to improve visibility and engagement.
Track marketing performance metrics, analyze campaign results, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate industry events, trade shows, conferences, networking opportunities, and client engagement activities, including logistics and promotional materials.
Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and potential growth opportunities.
Support client engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback collection, and relationship management activities.
Assist with internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and company events to strengthen internal brand alignment.
Manage branded materials, promotional items, and marketing inventory to ensure consistent brand representation.
Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to identify marketing opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
Work closely with executive leadership and business development teams to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of professional marketing experience, preferably within a professional services, consulting, engineering, construction, or business-to-business (B2B) environment.
Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills for both digital and print channels.
Experience supporting proposals, presentations, and business development efforts in a deadline-driven environment.
Experience coordinating marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including digital and traditional media.
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar tools.
Experience with website content management systems and SEO best practices.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and other marketing technologies.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Self-motivated approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
