Job Description:
This role is responsible for working with Business clients to grow and deepen both new and existing relationships over the phone. Business Banking Relationship Advisor's (BBRA) work with clients with revenues greater than $1MM and deliver the entire suite of Business Advantage solutions deposit, merchant, credit card, unsecured lending & digital, excluding specialty lending and treasury. They provide end to end guidance and solutions to clients by taking a consultative approach and uncovering their life priorities to match them with the appropriate solutions.
A Business Banking Relationship Advisor (responsibilities):
Manages a team-based portfolio of clients and leverages in-depth knowledge of clients business to uncover needs and deliver the appropriate solution
Collaborates with sales and support partners across the enterprise, and brings in partners at the appropriate time to support a sales opportunity
Consults with business clients to understand their business priorities and provide solutions that meet their needs
Delivers on excellent overall client satisfaction
Partners with specialty credit, treasury, and other Bank product partners to ensure quality relationship assessment, prospect needs and integrate design and execution of financial solutions
Builds meaningful relationships and partnerships
Executes on playbook strategies to achieve performance targets
Required skills:
3-5 years of proven consultative sales experience in financial services, business to business sales, or small business banking
Ability to operate in a phone-based sales environment
Proven track record of enhancing existing client relationships and meeting or exceeding sales goals
Proven sales skills and client management experience
Must be able to assess and analyze financial conditions of clients and industry trends
Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and cash flow analysis
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability
Capable of partnering and negotiating with team of bank associates to solve client issues
Undergraduate degree in business, finance or economics preferred OR minimum 5 yrs. Job Description

Desired skills:
Demonstrated management of an extensive client portfolio with annual revenues of $500k-$5 million
Thorough knowledge of small business financial products and services
7+ years of business experience
Experience advising business owners on lending solutions
Familiarity with sales force automation (Salesforce.com/ACT)
