About the Role:
Join our dynamic Corporate Controllership team, as a finance partner for the People (HR) Global Benefits and US Payroll organizations supporting financial accounting, planning, and analysis for a $30Bn revenue company with over 130,000 employees in 60 countries. This role offers growth and development opportunities through collaboration on diverse projects with senior business and finance leaders globally. We are looking for an initiative-taking and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and analytical skills to leverage tools like PeopleSoft, TM1, OneStream, Savant, and PowerBI.
What You'll Do:
Perform ad-hoc requests, additional reviews, validations and pre-checks over moderate to complex compensation and benefit areas - including but not limited to: (a) complex accounting entries generated by the Shared Services team; (b) critical account analyses and management reports; (c) new control activities to address emerging business transactions or new lines of business.
Assist in the monthly close process, coordinating with Segment Accounting Teams, Business Finance, People Teams, and Shared Services; perform analytical analysis; trouble-shoot reporting challenges (technical & system); improve efficiencies in existing processes.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and key internal financial reports and partner with Business Finance (Financial Planning) to explain variances.
Contribute to key accounting projects and deliverables, ensuring reporting accuracy and meeting departmental deadlines. Prepare reports/presentation materials to explain project status, highlighting the effects on accounting activities, as well as key deliverables expected of Controllership team.
Assist the Benefits and Compensation team in accounting matters and requests from the organization's internal and external auditors.
Collaborate and consult with various groups within the Controllership team, as well as broader Segment Accounting Teams, Business Finance, People Teams, and Shared Services for financial reporting or compliance issue resolution.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance
CPA or MBA preferred but not required.
3+ years of accounting/financial reporting compliance
Experience with compensation, stock plans, payroll, benefits, is a plus.
Advanced written, oral, and presentation skills.
Ability to convey complex financial issues to nonfinancial users.
Ability to provide and effectively communicate efficient, timely, and reliable information with top management, employees, and external auditors.
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards (FASB).
Ability to conduct financial/business analysis, prepare forecasts, budgets, and reports.
Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office, Savant, Alteryx, and PowerBI.
Experience with large financial systems such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, etc.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and able to work independently.
Ability to work with various levels of the organization to collect information and drive resolution.
Ability to manage and prioritize critical deadlines.
