Job Description
This role offers an opportunity to help launch a brand-new delivery program by recruiting local businesses to join a hub delivery partner network. You will focus on field-based outreach, visiting prospective businesses, presenting the program, qualifying leads, and guiding them through the application process. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to drive sign-ups, build community relationships, and support recruitment events, while managing your pipeline in Salesforce and earning uncapped commission based on partner conversions.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a 90-minute driving distance to promote the delivery partner program.
Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses in a clear and compelling way to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
Qualify prospective businesses based on defined criteria and guide them step-by-step through the application process.
Lead and track all sales activity using Salesforce, maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline of prospects and partners.
Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce, economic development associations, and other community organizations, to drive referrals.
Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and new partners, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the onboarding process.
Travel within a radius of up to approximately four hours round trip daily to cover assigned territories and meet outreach goals.
Consistently work toward and achieve recruitment targets and performance goals to maximize uncapped commission and incentives.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Proven outside or field sales experience, including door-knocking and territory sales.
Hands-on experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; Salesforce experience is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to present and pitch opportunities to business owners and decision-makers.
Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to work collaboratively with a Field Manager, contractors, and community partners.
High sense of urgency, with the ability to move quickly on leads and follow up consistently.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems for applicants in the field.
Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools, including Excel and CRM platforms.
Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip daily to cover assigned territories.
Comfort working in a field-based, door-to-door sales environment multiple days per week.
Work Environment
The role involves being on the road 4-5 days a week and working from home the remainder of the time. It requires residing in or near North Charlotte. The position offers a dynamic work environment with significant travel involved, and includes a phone allowance and mileage reimbursement.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
