Summary:
CIVCO Medical Solutions is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Events Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team for the Fall 2026 semester. This internship offers hands-on experience in event planning, marketing operations, and project coordination within the medical device industry.
The Events Marketing Intern will support the planning and execution of national trade shows, educational workshops, customer training programs, sales meetings, and internal events. This role provides exposure to a wide range of marketing activities while offering opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and industry professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Event Planning & Execution:
Assist with planning and coordinating CIVCO's participation at industry conferences, trade shows, educational workshops, and internal meetings.
Support event logistics, including registration management, attendee communications, shipping, and on-site preparation.
Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution.
Collect and organize event feedback, metrics, and post-event reports.
Assist with post-event follow-up activities, including communications, lead management, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to support event objectives.
Marketing Operations:
Prepare, organize, and ship marketing materials, booth assets, and event supplies.
Assist with creating and distributing communications related to conferences, workshops, and company events.
Help maintain event budgets, expense tracking, and project timelines.
Support lead management processes and ensure event-generated leads are accurately captured and distributed.
Assist with maintaining event inventories and organizing marketing resources.
Administrative & Special Projects:
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving event experiences and marketing processes.
Support special projects and other marketing initiatives as assigned.
Perform general administrative tasks related to event planning and marketing operations.

Education and/or Experience:
Candidates should be currently pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree in one of the following areas:
Marketing
Business Administration
Communications
Management
Sales
Public Relations
Related field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Note: This is a paid internship opportunity for 12 weeks ($15.00 per hour/15-20 hours per week). Internship is based at CIVCO corporate headquarters in Coralville, Iowa.
