The Opportunity
Install and maintain electrical control systems. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Work Schedule
Full-time; may include overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed to support production
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, and control system issues to minimize downtime
Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and upgrades
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Maintain and repair motors, drives, sensors, relays, and other industrial components
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in automated systems and production lines
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
Work with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in electrical technology preferred
Experience with electrical controls and maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (or equivalent of education and experience)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial controls
Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Familiarity with automated equipment and production machinery
Working knowledge of OSHA and electrical safety regulations
Certified electrician or work equivalent - preferred
Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR (requested annually) if operating mobile equipment or company vehicles.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Intermediate - Advanced computer skills required to complete/interpret technical work instructions, company training and HRIS requirements.
