Summary:

Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Product Owner in our Irving, TX Service Center to translate user demand into an overall vision and strategy for features within the CED ERP platform. This role will partner with field liaisons and business stakeholders to filter and prioritize demand into the product backlog for the team. The Product Owner will work closely with IT directors, peer scrum teams, stakeholders, field contacts and customers to ensure the success of these initiatives.

Reports to: Director - Internal Product Operations

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or a related field Previous working experience as a Product Owner for minimum 3 year(s)

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred experience in the wholesale distribution industry

Essential Job Functions:

Drive the product vision by facilitating discussions with management team, business owners, field liaisons, and stakeholders to strategize on new features that benefit internal and external users Refine those features and ideas into well-documented backlog items for consumption by engineering team, including creation of mockups or wireframes when necessary Lead recurring meetings with team, as needed Drive user experience decisions through collaboration with engineering team Manage user acceptance and disaster recovery testing efforts with stakeholders Support super users with technical questions and issues Coordinate with other teams in IT, such as peer development teams, Infrastructure, and Training Development Maintain and exemplify a posture of continuous improvement within the team
