We're seeking a motivated Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Technician to support school renovation and life-safety projects throughout the Savannah area. Whether you already have experience with low-voltage systems or come from an electrical, construction, cabling, telecom, or mechanical experience , this is an opportunity to learn from experienced technicians and grow into a highly skilled industry professional.
Fire alarm or security experience is NOT required. We are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to learn.
What You'll Do
? Install, replace, and test low-voltage devices and equipment
? Learn fire alarm system installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning
? Perform device swaps, termination, testing, assessments, and punch-list work
? Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling
? Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device layouts
? Troubleshoot field issues and work through solutions independently
? Coordinate with project teams, electricians, and contractors on active job sites
? Support school renovation and modernization projects
? Maintain a safety-first mindset on every project
What We're Looking ForRequired

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Experience working in construction, electrical, low-voltage, telecom, maintenance, or a similar hands-on environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Positive attitude and professional communication skills
Preferred But Not Required
Fire alarm experience
Security, access control, or CCTV experience
Low-voltage cabling experience
Experience reading blueprints or wiring diagrams
Exposure to Edwards (EST), Simplex, Fire-Lite, Vista, Alarm.com, or C-CURE systems
NICET certification

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
