Job Title: Manufacturing Fabricator
Job Description
This role focuses on operating and setting up a variety of manufacturing equipment, with primary responsibility for press brake operations and support across multiple metal fabrication processes. You will work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, building strong mechanical skills while contributing to the production of high-quality metal components and finished products. Responsibilities
Operate and set up press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to specifications and work instructions.
Perform hardware insertion using Haeger equipment to assemble and secure components.
Grind and finish metal parts to meet established quality and appearance standards.
Operate laser cutting equipment as needed to support production schedules and workflow.
Assemble manufactured components and finished products using appropriate tools and techniques.
Perform shakeout operations and material handling tasks to support efficient production flow.
Tap holes and prepare parts for assembly or additional processing, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Cross-train on and assist with other machines and production processes as business needs require.
Inspect parts visually and dimensionally for quality and accuracy, using tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Follow quality control and quality assurance practices to ensure products meet required standards.
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to complete tasks correctly and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Adhere to all safety guidelines when working around machinery, tools, fumes, and moving equipment.
Demonstrate reliable attendance, a positive work ethic, and effective collaboration with team members.
Perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods, including bending, reaching, and stooping as required by the job.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing or machine operation (preferred).
Ability to operate and set up press brake equipment, or willingness to learn with provided training.
Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and production documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple machines and processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints for fabrication and assembly tasks.
Proficiency with basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Capability to perform visual inspection and basic quality control checks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
Reliable attendance and a positive, proactive work ethic.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including bending, reaching, and stooping.
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment around machinery, tools, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and varying noise levels.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Press brake experience is a plus; training may be provided for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience in metal fabrication or the food industry manufacturing environment is beneficial.
Background in quality control or quality assurance in a production setting is an advantage.
Familiarity with Haeger hardware insertion equipment is helpful.
Experience operating laser cutting equipment or similar machinery is desirable.
Knowledge of fabrication processes including grinding, finishing, and assembly.
Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities.
Interest in building hands-on manufacturing experience and learning multiple production processes and equipment.
Willingness to cross-train and support different areas of the manufacturing process as needed.

Work Environment
This position is based in a metal fabrication manufacturing setting with regular exposure to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and moving equipment. Noise levels range from moderate to high, and you will work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, and stooping throughout the shift. You will work around press brakes, laser cutting equipment, grinding tools, Haeger hardware insertion machines, and other fabrication machinery. Safety policies and procedures guide all activities, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace is an important part of the job. The standard schedule is 36 hours per week over three days, providing concentrated shifts in a production-focused environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
