Aerotek is hiring Manufacturing Fabricators for a sheet metal company out of Moxee, WA.
What you will be doing...
· Operate and set up press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to
specifications and work instructions.
· Perform hardware insertion using Haeger equipment to assemble and secure components.
· Grind and finish metal parts to meet established quality and appearance standards.
· Operate laser cutting equipment as needed to support production schedules and workflow.
· Assemble manufactured components and finished products using appropriate tools and
techniques.
· Perform shakeout operations and material handling tasks to support efficient production
flow.
· Tap holes and prepare parts for assembly or additional processing, ensuring
accuracy and consistency.
· Cross-train on and assist with other machines and production processes as business needs
require.
· Inspect parts visually and dimensionally for quality and accuracy, using tools such as
calipers and micrometers.
· Follow quality control and quality assurance practices to ensure products meet
required standards.
· Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to complete tasks correctly and
efficiently.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety
policies and procedures.
· Adhere to all safety guidelines when working around machinery, tools, fumes, and
moving equipment.
· Demonstrate reliable attendance, a positive work ethic, and effective collaboration with
team members.
· Perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods, including bending,
reaching, and stooping as required by the job.
What you have...
· Experience in manufacturing or machine operation (preferred).
· Ability to operate and set up press brake equipment, or willingness to learn with provided training.
· Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and production documentation.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple machines and processes.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
· Reliable attendance and a positive, proactive work ethic.
