Pre-employment criminal background check High School Diploma or equivalent Prioritize multiple projects and duties efficiently within required timelines Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and learn other applications as needed Knowledge of office procedures, machines and processes Utilize 10-key calculators by touch Summary: Responsible for performing general accounting duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, filing, entering journal vouchers, and other duties as assigned in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles and company policies. General Duties Include: Maintain regular and punctual attendance Maintain confidentiality of organization, Program participants, applicants and team members Consistently provide high level customer service which is trauma informed and applicant centric Maintain awareness of program eligibility requirements/guidelines Uphold compliance with program guidelines/requirements Advocate for program participants in an effective and timely manner Effectively deescalate callers, visitors, applicants, program participants, community partners and/or team members Assess and communicate services in plain language \ Attend all team meetings/events/trainings as assigned or required \ Maintain a clean and safe environment Maintain office supplies and equipment Travel to various locations Effective delivery of basic messaging Ensure HUB is covered during lobby hours Help with outreach events Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers Answer phones, call back voicemails, distribute faxes and emails Provide accurate information and referrals to other organizations Provide general office support Accurate review of application forms received Schedule appointments for team members Assist with specials events/programs Program Specific Duties: Accounts Payable- Prepare and distribute weekly accounts payable assuring accurate general ledger account coding Enters all accounts payable accurately Enters accrual vouchers and writes journal entries to ensure that accounts are at zero Assist in preparing IRS 1099\'s and payroll W-2\'s Maintain accounts payable vendor files Write up vouchers for accounts payable Accounts Receivable- Assist with daily cash receipts as necessary Perform weekly energy batch draws \ Create invoices for other accounts receivable \ Enter all journal vouchers timely Assist with credit card entries General Accounting-
Enter Budgets Weekly filing of all accounting documents Analyze and research accounting problems Make sure all vendors have a W-9 prior to issuing any payments to them Assist with bank statement reconciliations
