Our client, a leader in the fast-growing logistics and last-mile delivery industry, is expanding a new delivery partner network across the Minneapolis market. They are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to identify, develop, and onboard local business partners into an innovative delivery program.

What You'll Do
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding local businesses into our client's delivery partner network.
Prospect and engage local business owners through phone outreach, email campaigns, networking, and in-person visits
Conduct field visits within designated territories (up to approximately 2 hours driving distance)
Present and promote the delivery partner opportunity to prospective businesses
Build trust and establish strong business relationships throughout the sales process
Qualify prospective partners and guide them through the application and vetting process
Manage and track leads, opportunities, and sales activities within Salesforce CRM
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and provide accurate updates on prospect activity
Support recruitment events such as lunch-and-learns, information sessions, town halls, and networking events
Collaborate with chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and other local business groups
Generate referrals and community partnerships to drive additional business opportunities
Import and manage lead data within Salesforce and other internal systems
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, customer service, or relationship-building roles
Experience with outside sales, field sales, or territory-based prospecting
Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable utilizing technology and learning new systems
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel locally throughout the Minneapolis market
Preferred Qualifications
Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
Territory sales or account management experience
Experience negotiating with customers or business owners
Bilingual Spanish or Somali language skills
Experience working within community organizations or local business networks

Compensation & Incentives
In addition to your base compensation, you'll have access to an attractive commission structure:
$75 per completed partner application
$150 when a partner reaches "Ready to Launch" status
$125 when a partner successfully launches and reaches two weeks of activity
Commission opportunities are uncapped, allowing top performers to significantly increase their earnings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $32.00/hr.
