Bell/Door AttendantSUMMARYThe Bell person/Door Attendant position will assist the Rooms leadership team in providing exceptional experiences to our guests. The focus of the role will be to engage guests throughout the hotel and manage the full-cycle guest experience. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSJob duties include; although are not limited to:

Welcome guests to the hotel and ensuring a pleasant arrival and departure

Coordinate with Valet Parking vendor to handle guest's valet parking

Maintain hotel's front drive, ensuring entrance is clear for all guests

Answer questions and offer assistance , giving accurate information regarding, but not limited to, outlet hours, hotel services, and directions to local attractions or meeting space

Delivering of guest luggage

Facilitate hotel room orientations

Deliver items to guest rooms as needed

Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments

Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of two years' experience in customer service

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace

High School Diploma or equivalent

Luxury hotel experience preferred

Prior Bell position experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 60 lbs., including, but not limited to, luggage, guest items and bags on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

The pay scale for the bell/door attendant is $28.46/hour The pay scale is the base hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
