Job Title: Power Generation Technician

Location: Midland, Texas

Type: Direct

Compensation: $37 hourly (+/-)

Contractor Work Model: Onsite - onsite

Hours: 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays

Power Generation Technician Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems using CAT ET and related software.

Interpret wiring schematics and technical manuals to service control hardware and instrumentation.

Document all work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, including PPE use and safe driving practices.

Maintain company property and equipment in optimal condition.

Collaborate with operators and technicians to minimize downtime and prioritize workload.

Prioritize workload effectively to avoid equipment failure and unplanned downtime.

Must be safety conscious and willing to use stop work authority when necessary.

Perform general housekeeping and routine maintenance of company property, including service vehicle and trailer.

Power Generation Technician Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred experience with CAT G3520 engines and Solar SMT60 turbines.

Proficiency in CAT ET and diagnostic tools.

Strong understanding of natural gas engines, turbines, control systems, and network protocols.

Valid driver's license with clean record.

Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; ability to learn new software quickly.

Physically able to work in varied conditions and operate vehicles safely.
