Description We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a one-night culinary event in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This Contract position will serve as a key point of contact for attendees, helping create a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival through the event. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and comfortable assisting guests in a fast-paced setting while providing clear information and efficient check-in support.

Responsibilities:

Welcome attendees upon arrival and create a positive first impression throughout the event.

Manage guest check-in by verifying entry details and using scanning tools accurately and efficiently.

Respond to attendee questions regarding event activities, timing, and general logistics in a clear and attentive manner.

Help direct guests to event areas, including chef stations, tasting spaces, and other designated locations.

Support on-site event coordination by communicating updates and escalating issues to the appropriate team members when needed.

Monitor entry flow to help maintain an organized and efficient arrival process during busy periods.

Provide courteous assistance to guests throughout the evening to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Requirements - Prior experience assisting with events, guest services, hospitality, or front-of-house support is preferred.

Ability to interact professionally with the public and provide friendly, helpful service.

Comfortable using scanning equipment or mobile check-in tools with accuracy.

Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to answer questions clearly.

Able to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced event environment.

Dependable and punctual for a scheduled one-night assignment.

Capable of standing and moving throughout the event as needed. TalentMatch®
