Introduction

This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the plant manager and site leadership team at Performance Pipe's Startex facility. The role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day operations and advancing business objectives through efficient coordination and execution of administrative activities.

The position is responsible for a wide range of administrative functions, including both routine and self-initiated tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion. It interfaces with multiple internal teams and projects, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities

Handle semi-routine tasks with some level of autonomy, such as organizing small events.

Coordinate office administration tasks including ordering IT equipment, office supplies, coordination of interviews, and maintaining team files per record retention guidelines.

Manage schedules and appointments with regular updates, coordinating with team members as needed.

Respond to queries and direct more complex inquiries to appropriate personnel.

Prepares expense reports, reconciles credit card statements, and processes invoices as necessary.

Support document preparation, including proofreading, formatting, and basic data analysis.

Liaise with other departments to obtain necessary information for tasks, maintaining clear communication.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 3 years of administrative assistance experience

Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

Associates Degree

Working knowledge of SharePoint

Experience coordinating events
