Aircraft Logs and Records Technician

Maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records. Proficient performing all operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping. Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware or data entry. Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem and other electronic means. Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations. Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing, performing data base and systems analysis.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum three (3) years of job-related experience or equivalent.

Requires knowledge of computer operating software programs.

Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:

HIRING HOURLY Rate of Pay: $36.56 (Hourly rate set by CBA)

In accordance with the established Collective Bargaining Agreement, the hourly wage for this position is as follows:

Current: $36.56

On or around 6/1/2027: $37.66

This position includes a competitive benefits package, to include:

Paid vacation. Annual allotment in the form of a biweekly accrual as follows: 80 hours for 0-5 years of service, 120 hours for 5-10 years of service, 160 hours for 10+ years of service.

401k

11 Paid holidays annually (prorated dependent on hire date)
