late evenings past 6:00 PM, rotating Saturdays 9:00 AM 3:00 PM) About Us
Dulmes Dcor Carpet One is a premier local flooring and design retailer
dedicated to transforming residential and commercial spaces. We pride

every employee like family. We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented
Design & Sales Consultant to join our growing team and help clients
bring their interior visions to life. Role Summary The Design & Sales
Consultant acts as a trusted expert, guiding clients through the
selection, specification, and purchasing processes. This role requires a
blend of creative flair, exceptional communication, and strong project
management skills to ensure a seamless client experience from initial
consultation to final installation. Core Responsibilities Design
Consultation: Guide clients through product selections for flooring,
backsplashes, custom tile showers, and window treatments. Client
Relationship Management: Communicate effectively to identify design
preferences, project requirements, and structural needs. Business
Development: Proactively prospect and follow up with potential customers
to build a robust pipeline. Project Estimating: Generate accurate price
quotes and proposals based on precise measurements and product
selections. Order Management: Process client payments securely and order
necessary materials in a timely manner. Account Supervision: Resolve
client inquiries, address concerns promptly, and ensure premium service
experience throughout the project lifecycle. Industry Expertise:
Maintain deep product knowledge and stay ahead of emerging interior
design trends. Qualifications & Skills Professional Experience: Proven
track record in retail sales, customer service, or a design-related
field. Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability
to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. Communication:
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to
build long-term rapport. Aesthetic Insight: A refined sense of color
theory and a strong interest in interior design. Analytical Skills:
Proficiency in basic mathematics for calculating square footage,
measurements, and project pricing. Teamwork: A collaborative mindset
with a strong drive to support overall team goals. Preferred: Formal
education or experience in Interior Design or decorating is a plus,
though we are fully prepared to train the right candidate. Compensation
