As a Armed Security Officer Response Patrol in Boulder, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.15 / Hour

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public agencies as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.

Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces to help support authorized entry, assist with crowd and passenger flow, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations.

Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and preparing clear reports related to daily activities, incidents, and/or enforcement actions.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 3 years of experience as Military Police, a Corrections Officer, or an armed security-related professional, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.

Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge, an Associate Degree, 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
