NOW HIRING: 1st Shift Material Handler / Stacker

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Paid Weekly

Olsten Staffing is currently seeking hardworking and reliable Material Handlers/Stackers for a 1st shift opportunity in the Lamar area. This position involves handling and stacking steel products, supporting production operations, and ensuring materials are organized and prepared for shipment.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday

6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Possible overtime on Fridays

Job Responsibilities

Stack, sort, and organize steel beams and finished products

Assist with material handling and product movement throughout the facility

Band and prepare products for storage and shipment

Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or damages

Follow proper stacking procedures to ensure product stability and workplace safety

Assist production teams with general labor duties as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or material handling experience preferred

Ability to perform repetitive lifting, stacking, and moving of steel products throughout the shift

Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

Strong attention to safety and detail

Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

Ability to work overtime when needed

Must be able to pass a tape test

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, and stack materials consistently throughout the shift

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Ability to perform physically demanding work in a team-oriented setting

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
