Summary: Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Technical Specialist is a
key member of the sales team. In the Technical Specialist position, the
individual is responsible for outside customer sales and sales
satisfaction through direct contact, phone, or other electronic
communications. Sales functions include territory management, customer
interaction activities, prospecting for new customers, contract/pricing
negotiations, product presentation, inventory management, uncovering
needs and closing sales. Individual will be placed in an established
account base and will be encouraged to achieve sales and margin
objectives. Exciting work you will do: The essential duties and
responsibilities of the Outside Sales Technical Specialist will consist
of, but are not limited to, the following: Manage, grow, strategize, and
support the assigned territory Work alongside an established team
covering multiple states in the Midwest market Generate profitable
orders and meet or exceed annual sales targets Actively seek out new
clients to expand the assigned territory Maintain strong and trusted
relationships with manufacturers and customers Regularly analyze your
field activities, determine the improvements required, act on them,
ultimately bringing a high level of productivity and efficiency Monitor
and review all quotations, professionally follow-up, and maximize sales
Develop a full understanding of your client base, territory,
competition, and market Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently,
