Responsibilities:
Lead the installation and maintenance of avionics equipment.
Diagnose and repair complex avionics issues.
Conduct comprehensive testing of avionics systems.
Document all maintenance activities accurately.
Ensure compliance with FCC, FAA, and company standards.
Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.
Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Advanced knowledge of avionics systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings.
Advanced skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Associate's degree in Avionics, Electronics, or a related field.
Expert soldering skills and use of advanced diagnostic tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with FCC and FCCGeneral Radio Operator License (GROL).
Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope, and/or pitot static equipment.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

Ability to navigate various work environments, including climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, and working at heights.
Ability to drive or operate a vehicle for frequent travel to customer locations.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
Strong awareness of safety protocols and ability to adhere to safety guidelines in potentially hazardous environments.
Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
